Under the Sun

Brand Identity


Brief
Founder Hayley was looking to develop a brand mark for her new side hustle.

Currently selling alternative healthy lunch boxes and preservatives, Under the Sun needed to have scope to cover future catering events and potentially its own Cafe space one day.

Hayley wanted the branding to be powerful and have a “ancient” feel to it. I was also guided by an understanding of her own values of sourcing local, ethical and sustainable ingredients.

Looking at the competition we came to the conclusion that it needed to stand out in the market by not looking hand made/drawn which was the current trend.

The final outcome reflected the overarching power of the sun, bold yet having fluidity in its motion.

The supporting colour palette is sourced from earthy tones, reflecting the natural produce.
